Safe Workplace & Anti-Harassment Committee
A formally constituted internal committee, with safe and confidential channels for raising any concern.
People & Planet
We believe how a garment is made matters as much as the garment itself.

Women Empowerment
A garment factory runs on skilled hands, and we want most of the skilled hands at Vertex to belong to women. Stable factory earnings bring financial independence; structured training builds skills that outlast any single order. At our shirt and fine-knit plant — Plot 83 — we are moving toward a workforce that is 70% women by FY 2027–28.
This is not a programme on the side — it is how the factory grows. A defined pathway takes an operator to supervisor and on to line leadership, so the women who make the product also run the floor.
A formally constituted internal committee, with safe and confidential channels for raising any concern.
Structured, paid training on machines and processes — from first stitch to multi-operation competence.
A defined route from operator to supervisor and line leadership, with promotion from the floor.
Equal pay for equal work — across every grade, department and shift.
Healthcare support, clean facilities and welfare provisions on every floor.
Environmental Responsibility
We are setting up an Effluent Treatment Plant with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) for our shirt manufacturing unit. Process water is collected, treated and recovered — then returned to production. Nothing leaves the plant as liquid effluent.
Ethical Workplace & Compliance
The same commitments hold on every line and every shift — written in policy, checked by audit.
Certifications & Audits
Our Plot 83 apparel facility — flat knit, fine knit and shirts — is SMETA 4-Pillar audited through Sedex: labour standards, health & safety, environment and business ethics.
